Hex Nuts

Do you need the most common and basic nut? Hex nuts work with external hex bolts. The hex shape fits standard wrenches. Tightening and removal are both fast. We are a Shanghai factory. We have worked for 20 years.

We take an M10, grade 8 carbon steel nut as an example. The proof load is ≥42 kN. The hardness range is HV 150-250. This follows ISO 898-2. The width across flats meets ISO 4014. It fits standard open wrenches and socket wrenches. When used with a 6g bolt, the thread gap is 0.05-0.15 mm. This gives smooth turning and a good lock force. The size range is M1 to M64. Thread precision is 6H for coarse threads and 6H/5H for fine threads. This meets DIN 934, ISO 4032 (coarse), and ISO 8673 (fine). We offer four materials. Carbon steel SWRCH35K, 45#, or SCM435 in grades 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12. Stainless steel SUS304, SUS316, or SUS410 for good corrosion resistance. Brass H59 or H62 for electrical connections. Aluminum 6061-T6 or 7075 for light weight. Surface finish includes cleaning, zinc plating, Dacromet, or hot dip galvanizing. Hot dip galvanizing has a zinc layer ≥50 μm for outdoor steel structures. Dacromet gives 500-1000 hours of salt spray.

For outdoor or wet areas, pick stainless steel or Dacromet. For electrical connections, pick brass. For light weight needs, pick aluminum. But know that aluminum has lower strength. Use it for non-load parts. You can add a spring washer, a nylon lock nut, or thread locker to boost vibration resistance. We pack your order well. We have done this for 20 years.
