Do you need a lock nut for high temperature areas? A nylon ring gets soft above 120°C. Our Metal Lock Nut has an all-metal body. No nylon. No plastic. The locking performance is close to a nylon lock nut. But the temperature range is much wider. The size range is M3 to M36. The lock shape uses a top slot or an oval pinch. The deformation is controlled to 0.05-0.15 mm. Thread precision is 6H. This meets DIN 980. We offer stainless steel SUS304, SUS316, or SUS630 and carbon steel SWRCH35K, SCM435, or 45#. Carbon steel grade is 8, 10, or 12 per ISO 898-2. The all-metal body works from -50°C to +300°C. There is no plastic to age or soften. Special materials like SUS630 can handle +500°C. Surface finish includes cleaning, zinc plating, or Dacromet. Dacromet gives 500+ hours of salt spray.

Use it with high strength bolts (grade 10.9 or higher). Our nuts meet DIN 980, ISO 7042, and GB/T 6185. You can trust them for high heat and high vibration areas.
