Threaded Screw Sleeve

Did your threaded hole get stripped? The whole part becomes waste. That is a shame. Our Threaded Screw Sleeve fixes stripped threads. It is also called a thread insert or an inner-outer thread nut. It is a precision wire coil made from diamond shaped wire. We put it into a pre-tapped larger hole. It becomes a strong standard inner thread. We are a Shanghai factory. We have supplied fasteners for 20 years.

After you install our screw sleeve, the inner thread strength returns to 100% of the original design. In aluminum or stainless steel, the sleeve thread is even stronger than the base metal. The sleeve hardness is HRC 43-50. This is much higher than aluminum (about HB 60) or cast iron (HB 200-250). The thread resists wear and scratching very well. The temperature range is -60°C to +300°C. Stainless steel resists oxidation well. Our material is stainless steel SUS304 or SUS316. We use precision winding with diamond shaped wire. The wire shape is a diamond. The hardness after heat treatment is HRC 43-50. The sleeve outer diameter is slightly larger than the hole. It stays in the hole by elastic tension. Thread precision is 6H.

We have thread rollers, automatic lathes, CNC lathes, and cold heading machines. We have salt spray testers, 2D projectors, hardness testers, and optical sorters. We check every batch. Installation is simple in three steps. First, use a special tap (ST series) to make the hole bigger. Second, put the sleeve into the installation tool. Then screw it into the bigger hole. Third, use a break tool to break the tang (for the type with a tang) or just finish (for the tangless type). Our sleeve meets DIN 8140 and ISO 10330. It works with most thread repair systems. We accept third-party inspections. You can fix stripped threads instead of throwing away good parts.
