The ultimate pull-out force is ≥3.0 kN. The mandrel break force is about 4-5 kN. This ensures the rivet expands fully before breaking. The size range is M2.4 to M16. One rivet fits a range of sheet thicknesses. For φ5 mm rivets, the grip range is 3.0 to 6.0 mm. We offer four material mixes. Stainless steel/stainless steel: body and mandrel are both stainless steel. This gives the best corrosion resistance and strength. Steel/steel: body and mandrel are carbon steel. This costs less and has good strength. Aluminum/steel: aluminum body with a steel mandrel. This is light and resists corrosion. But shear force is lower. The rivet body wall is precision cold headed. The wall thickness is even. The mandrel has a ring lock groove. The break force is well controlled. Surface finish includes cleaning, zinc plating, or black oxide. Zinc plating gives 48-72 hours of salt spray.
