Lock Your Shaft with a Pin Using Our Drilled Shaft
Do you need a shaft that locks with a cotter pin or a retaining ring? A plain shaft has no hole. It cannot lock. Our Drilled Shaft has a radial through hole in the cylinder. This hole works with a cotter pin, a spring pin, or a retaining ring. It gives you axial locking. And you can take it apart later. We are a Shanghai factory. We have made fasteners for 20 years.

The hole diameter is φ1.5 mm to φ8 mm. It matches the shaft size. The distance from the hole to the shaft end can be customized. The standard range is 5 to 15 mm. We can make single holes or double holes (cross holes or parallel holes). Our material is carbon steel 45#, 40Cr, or SWRCH35K. It gets heat treatment. The core hardness is HRC 22-28. The surface hardness is HRC 30-35. This hardness mix gives good toughness. The elongation rate is ≥14%. It also has good wear resistance.

We use precision drilling or punching for the holes. The hole tolerance is ±0.05 mm. The hole position error is ≤0.1 mm. The drilled shaft has center holes on both ends. This keeps the outer diameter concentric to the axis within ≤0.05 mm during grinding. The shaft will not have off-center load after installation. Surface finish is zinc plating or black oxide. Zinc plating comes in white or yellow. The zinc layer is 5-12 μm thick. Neutral salt spray test lasts 48-72 hours with no red rust. Our factory is in Shanghai Jiading. We have 2300 square meters and 20 workers. We started in 2006. That is 20 years now. Cold headed parts start at 50,000 pieces. Machined parts depend on the size.
